Equity Quantitative Portfolio Manager

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct quantitative research and analysis to identify alpha-generating investment opportunities in equity markets.

- Develop and implement systematic trading strategies using quantitative models and algorithms.

- Manage portfolio risk and optimize capital allocation to achieve desired risk-return objectives.

- Monitor and analyze market trends, factor exposures, and other relevant data to inform investment decisions.

- Collaborate with research, trading, and risk management teams to enhance investment processes and performance.

Core Skills Required:

- Proficiency in quantitative analysis, statistical modeling, and programming languages such as Python, R, or MATLAB.

- Strong understanding of equity markets, financial instruments, and trading strategies.

- Experience with quantitative portfolio management techniques, including factor modeling, risk management, and optimization.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable insights.

- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Experience:

- 5+ years of experience in quantitative portfolio management or related roles within the hedge fund industry.

- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful quantitative investment strategies.

- Experience with machine learning techniques and alternative data sources for alpha Bachelor's degree in quantitative finance, mathematics, computer science, or a related field. Advanced degree (e.g., Master's or Ph.D.) preferred.

- Relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM, CAIA) a plus.

Additional Requirements:

- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic trading environment.

- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to excellence in quantitative research and portfolio management.
