Role Overview:

The Manager - Project Planning will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and tracking of all global projects from the GBC, Noida office. This role requires a dynamic individual who can collaborate effectively with senior executives, including CEOs and CFOs, across different regions. The candidate will utilize advanced project management tools and techniques to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget. The role demands a high level of organizational skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals and coordinate various managers and technical personnel during all project phases, from initial development through implementation.
  • Monitor project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables.
  • Communicate proactively with all involved personnel to provide encouragement, identify problems, create solutions, and implement efficiency improvements.
  • Review proposed modifications on project plans, including meeting with interested parties to approve and implement beneficial changes.
  • Anticipate details of future projects by communicating directly with customers and staying informed of relevant trends and industry news.
  • Work closely with senior executives, including CEOs and CFOs, to align project objectives with organizational goals.
  • Utilize project management software to organize tasks and track project timelines and deliverables.
  • Conduct regular project review meetings and update the project status to the stakeholders.
  • Implement risk management strategies and contingency plans to mitigate project risks.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing project management environment.


Job Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, with master’s in project management / construction management from NICMAR or reputed institute.
  • PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a plus.
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in project management, planning, and tracking global projects.
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale projects and working with senior executives.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Industrial and Infrastructure development experience needed.
  • Procurement tracking, linked to project construction plan.
  • Travel to project sites in Africa or elsewhere when needed
  • Knowledge of global project management standards and practices.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle complex projects with tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello).
