Job Title: Area Sales Manager KalingaStone.Location Sales.Company Overview:Classic Marble Company (CMC) is a premier provider of high-quality marble, engineered marble , natural stones, advanced flooring and fa- ade solutions.With a legacy of innovation, CMC offers a wide range of natural stones and engineered materials that bring beauty, functionality, and durability to residential, commercial, and luxury projects across the globe.Position Summary:- The Business Development Manager (BDM) will be responsible for driving business growth across the company's diverse portfolio, including Natural Marble and Porcelain Surfaces.- This individual will work closely with Top Notch Architects, Interior Designers (also if required with Contractors) and Channel Partners to build long-lasting relationships and ensure market expansion.- As a key player in expanding the product lines, the BDM will focus on creating new business opportunities, fostering partnerships, managing key accounts, and executing growth strategies to position CMC as a leader in the Development & Market Expansion:- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's product offerings within the specified regions (Natural Marble).- Build and execute strategic plans to drive growth and market presence across these product lines, ensuring alignment with broader company objectives.- Generate business through Architects, Interior Designers& if required with Contractors, Builders.- Generate business through Project Sales by presenting the products, securing specifications, and influencing product selection for projects.Client Relationship & Account Management:- Develop strong, long-term relationships with key clients, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and retention.- Oversee key account management to drive repeat business and client loyalty.Sales Strategy & Execution:- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, and product) to develop sales strategies, promotional campaigns, and pricing models that support business objectives.- Manage the sales process, from lead generation to contract signing, ensuring timely follow-up and closing of deals.- Track and report on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to adjust business strategies and enhance CMCs market positioning.Sales Support & Client Retention:- Oversee Pre installation guidance & post Installation services, ensuring client satisfaction and addressing any complaints or issues promptly.- Monitor customer feedback and initiate corrective actions to improve customer retention and product satisfaction.- Strengthen client relationships through consistent follow-ups and tailored support to ensure long-term business success.Revenue & Financial Management:- Develop and manage budgets for business development activities, ensuring cost-effective strategies and maximized revenue generation.- Work towards achieving sales targets, fostering the growth of CMCs product lines and ensuring profitable outcomes.Market Intelligence & Competitor Analysis:- Stay updated on market trends, customer preferences, and competitor strategies to continuously refine and improve business development tactics.- Use data insights and feedback to anticipate market shifts and adjust strategies Background:- Bachelor's or Masters degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Architecture, or related 10+ years of experience in business development in Luxury Sales, or account management within the building materials industry (marble, granite, tiles, ceramics, sanitary ware, etc.- Proven success in driving sales growth, managing key accounts, and developing new business opportunities within the building materials sector.- Experience managing and mentoring a team of BDEs or sales professionals.Skills & Competencies:- Strong business acumen with expertise in market analysis, strategy development, and sales execution.- In-depth understanding of the building materials industry, including Natural Marble, Kalinga, Terrazzo, and Porcelain Surfaces.- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with an ability to influence key decision-makers.- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.- Strategic thinker with the ability to drive business expansion and client engagement.Personal Attributes:- Highly motivated, results-driven with a customer-first approach.- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a cross-functional environment.- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.- Strong problem-solving ability, detail-oriented, and a proactive attitude toward identifying business opportunities.
