Job Description:

*All roles will conduct development (ETL) and QE (quality engineering) duties. The Lead Data Engineer should have a couple years of experience leading others, with at least 7 years total of experience. Mid-level Data Engineers should have about 3-5 years of experience. All candidates need to come from an IICS environment (Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services).

*ETL Development – Day-to-Day/Responsibilities:

  • Perform Required analysis & Create Design, Mapping document for ETL
  • Reverse engineering of existing ETL code
  • Design, Build and Unit Test of ETL
  • QA of ETL code
  • UAT Support
  • Performance Testing
  • Required Regression testing to ensure no impact to production
  • Pre Prod Deployment & Testing
  • Production Deployment & Smoke Test
  • Warranty or Hyper care Support & KT

*ETL Data Quality & Control Rules – Day-to-Day/Responsibilities:

  • Analyze data in LNDG, CL, and DL layers Configure and Execute Data Quality & Control checks
  • Review generated reports and validating findings
  • Modify the generated reports format via email alerts as requested by the team, ensuring ease of access and utilization for addressing identified issues promptly.
  • Deploy and Validate DQ rules across required regions until production

Requirements and Design – Day-to-Day/Responsibilities:

  • Create & maintain detailed delivery plan as per required program timeliness
  • Perform required analysis and create design & STTM with logics & transformation detailed including reverse engineering where required
  • Create and develop and Automation Test Strategy & test plan
  • STTM documentation
  • Reverse engineering Lineage Document Test Strategy Document
  • Data Pipeline Code Inventory by categories/dependencies
  • Master Code inventory/entries
  • Data Model, DML/DDL, Entity/Attribute definition
  • Design Review Signoff document

Build - Day-to-Day/Responsibilities:

  • Create high level and low-level design documents along with load strategies, exceptions, error handling, ABC etc.
  • Build ETL code, DB scripts (DDL/DML), ESP & Unix scripts, Unit test code and other all required components for the data pipeline
  • Execute code and capture test output and evidence matches to acceptance criteria of requirement
  • Execute regression test’s, capture defects, and provide fixes
  • Perform demo for the production support teams
  • Peer review / Code review documents and CI/CD scripts
  • Ensure industry standards and CNB standards/process are captured and followed across phases.
  • Consult on Industry standards, best practice
  • Code version management & Code Merge
  • High level and Low-level Design documents
  • Finalized DB scripts
  • ETL Code pipeline Files
  • ESP XML files/ Unix scripts
  • Details for Implementation plan/Run book
  • Code review results (and sign-off)
  • Updated test case document with all UT & regression test evidence and sign-off
  • Defect & Status report
  • Code Review Signoff document
  • CI/CD for migrations and deployments


Compensation:

$4/hr to $9/hr USD.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
