Reporting to : CEO/VP Sales (as per the level of hiring)
JOB CONTEXT :
- This is an opportunity for highly experienced and accomplished salesperson to lead the revenue for various regions and sectors.
- The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of meeting the revenue targets, developing and executing strategic sales plans, building and managing high-performing sales teams, and closing complex deals with enterprise clients in the cyber security industry.
- They will also have a fair understanding about the cybersecurity frameworks, information security standards and technology related knowledge.
- The role must contribute to building a unique Company culture and align the expectation of team with the vision and objectives of the company.
- Role reports to the CEO/Vice President - Business Development
JOB PURPOSE :
- Generate new business for company's core offerings which includes- PCI Compliance and certifications services, CERT-In Security Audits, Security Testing Service, SOC 1 & 2 assessments, Privacy Assessments, ISO 27001 assessments, Cyber Forensics services across industries, geographies.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to acquire new clients specially in the Government sector for various IT security audit, consulting, and testing services.
- Identify and target key clients and opportunities within the various regions.
- Device sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and market share growth.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to ensure high performance and professional development.
- Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories.
- Identify new market opportunities and ensure the business is positioned to capitalize on them.
- Oversee the identification and pursuit of high-value sales opportunities.
- Negotiate and close high-value contracts with major clients.
- Analyse sales metrics and data to inform strategy and decision-making.
- Prepare regular sales reports for senior management, detailing performance, challenges, and opportunities.
- Ideal Candidates should have Experience with sales CRM systems, with exposure of forecasting and pipeline management, Experience with account-based marketing (ABM) and fervour of closing complex deals in the cyber security industry.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and client needs.
- Provide feedback to the management team on market trends and opportunities.
- Participate in regular sales meetings and provide updates on regional performance.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve and exceed revenue goals.
- Increase sales & revenue by onboarding large deals in the government sector.
- Onboard large enterprise clients for various cyber security services.
- Build and lead a high-performing sales team with a strong culture of collaboration and excellence.
- Identify and qualify new sales opportunities.
- Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations that highlight the value of Company 's solutions.
- Negotiate and close complex deals with enterprise clients.
- Manage and maintain customer relationships throughout the sales process and beyond.
MUST HAVE SKILLS :
- Lead sourcing techniques including tools like LinkedIn, Hunter.io etc.
- Ability to connect and initiate cold calling skills to profiles like CXOs, IT Heads etc.
- Drafting and creation of Proposals for the clients
- Execution and conversion of the lead
- Driving 360 degree sales cycle
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE :
- Candidates from top-tier Business schools would be preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in high revenue sales and proven record of sustainable revenue turnover and at least 1-2 year in Cyber Security and allied Interactions:
- Leadership colleagues, Vertical heads and subordinates in Sales team and other departments for effective execution of deliverables.
- Finance specifically accounts receivables.
External Interactions:
- Client teams including technical & managerial stakeholders.
- CTOs & technical leads, outsourced team members involved in projects.
- Govt bodies, institutions pertaining to project requirements and industry branding.
