We are seeking a seasoned Python Automation Engineer with expertise in test automation and Python-based automated test development. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in QA or test automation, proficiency in Python programming, and experience with industry-standard automation frameworks. A solid understanding of Layer 2/Layer 3 protocols and Linux environments is essential.Key Responsibilities :- Design, develop, and maintain Python-based automated test scripts.- Implement test automation solutions using frameworks such as Pytest, Robot, or Behave.- Conduct Layer 2/Layer 3 protocol testing to ensure robust and reliable performance.- Work with traffic generators like Ixia or Spirent for simulation and testing.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and quality assurance.- Analyze test results, debug issues, and provide detailed reports.- Maintain and improve existing test automation frameworks.Skills and Qualifications :Mandatory Skills :- 8+ years of experience in QA or test automation.- Proficiency in Python programming and knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts.- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks like Pytest, Robot, or Behave.- Working knowledge of Linux operating systems.- Strong understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 network protocols.Preferred Skills :- Experience with traffic generators like Ixia or Spirent.- Knowledge of networking concepts and troubleshooting.- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).Educational Requirements :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
