We are defined by our dedication to doing good and this translates to business success, meaningful work friendships, a can-do attitude, and deep curiosity.Who you’ll be working with: IP network intelligence team in Pune is looking for a new senior C++ team-member to join forces in the world of IP protocols and deep packet inspection. You will be working with IP teams across Cognyte at Israel and Bulgaria.As a Cognyter you will: · Research and reverse engineer IP communication protocols. · Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C++ code for deep packet inspection of IP traffic. · Work closely with architects and product owners to contribute to overall architecture and system design. · Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining coding standards and best practices; provide mentoring and professional guidance to junior colleagues.For that mission you’ll need: 5+ years of professional experience with C++, working experience with templates, STL, boost libraries. B.Sc. in computer science, computer engineering or an equivalent degree Knowledge of networking and IP protocols (all layers including application layer) Experience with developing large scale and complex system solutions. Experience with developing networking applications is an advantage. Familiarity with packet inspection tools is an advantage. Solution orientation and "can do" attitude with a desire to tackle complex problems. A team player with excellent collaboration skills. Excellent English – verbal and written.
