Job Title: General Manager – Passenger Segment (3S)
Location: Kathmandu, Nepal
Reports To: CEO/Managing Director
Department: Passenger Segment
Job Summary:
The General Manager (Passenger Segment) is responsible for overseeing and managing the Sales, Service, and Spare Parts (3S) operations of the organization. This leadership role involves driving business growth, ensuring customer satisfaction, optimizing operational efficiency, and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Management:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business targets.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
- Drive customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.
- Lead and mentor the sales team to maximize performance and achieve KPIs.
2. Service Operations Management:
- Ensure high-quality after-sales service to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Establish service standards and ensure adherence across all branches.
- Monitor service operations for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Handle customer complaints and ensure timely resolution.
3. Spare Parts Management:
- Oversee inventory management of spare parts to ensure optimal stock levels.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors for timely procurement.
- Optimize spare parts distribution to reduce downtime for customers.
- Monitor cost efficiency and streamline the spare parts supply chain.
4. Team Leadership:
- Build, train, and motivate a high-performing 3S team.
- Set clear goals and provide ongoing support and feedback.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
5. Business Development:
- Identify and explore new business opportunities in the passenger segment.
- Develop partnerships with dealers, distributors, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare and present business reports and strategies to the senior management team.
6. Financial Management:
- Prepare budgets and forecasts for sales, service, and spares.
- Monitor and control costs to ensure profitability.
- Conduct financial analysis and implement corrective measures as needed.
7. Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company standards.
- Prepare and submit periodic performance reports to the management.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 10–15 years of experience in the automobile/passenger segment, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing 3S operations.
- Strong understanding of the passenger vehicle market, customer behavior, and operational dynamics.
