Job Responsibilities


Senior Developer – Power Platform with experience in IT industry, as well as proven skills in technical consulting. Apps can be for different business functions e.g. customer interaction, finance & accounting, supply chain & logistics, plant or office operations, sales & marketing, HR & employee interaction, recruitment etc. and requires awareness of business processes and use-cases for sectors like Retail & Distribution, D2C & E-Commerce, ITES & SaaS, Real Estate, Manufacturing, Healthcare, other services etc. The role will be:


  • Definition of Problem Statement & Process Diagnostics: Understanding the client’s problem statement i.e. use-case for relevant business function, define process & data flow (AS-IS and TO-BE), KPIs, users / stakeholders. 
  • Project Scoping including User Requirements: Be able to show skills across advising, scoping, designing and defining projects which are either complex or broad in scope. Understand user requirements and define features of the App.
  • Develop Power Apps solutions on the Microsoft Power Platform, including Common Data Service (CDS), Power Apps and Dynamics 365 CE. Experience in developing new Power Apps model-driven and canvas apps as well as enhancing existing apps. 
  • Strong development knowledge on Plugins and connected workflows, Power Apps Component Framework (PCF) Controls for both canvas and model driven apps, Dataverse.
  • Experience with SharePoint integration scenarios with Power Apps and D365, building onward linkages to visualization Dashboards. Ability to create custom connectors for Power Automate.
  • Development experience & knowledge on Microsoft stack especially C#, ASP.NET, Azure, Office 365.
  • Additional advantage for candidates possessing development experience & knowledge on customization of views / forms using HTML5, JavaScript, Node JS, CSS3.
  • Experience of typical Data Preparation, Transformation skills leveraging various functions and tools like Power Query, functions in Excel & Google Sheets (Google Script), SQL/Python, for data operations and get it in shape for further computation and formats based on the business need.
  • Mapping data and user hierarchies with business requirements, organizing data into masters (dimension tables), transactions (fact tables) and forming relationships in data model / cube. Data warehousing before and after-transformation, documentation best practices.
  • Added knowledge of other comparable app eco-systems such as Google Apps, Microsoft Dynamics 365, ERPNext and automation using low-code / no-code tools like Power Automate, Selenium, Zappier etc. 
  • Understanding of process workflows, data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques.
  • Understand scalable data architectures, cloud tools and data flows in practical business-cases. This is a wide-ranging role with room to utilize and enhance your technical and professional skills, as you will also drive the client’s computing strategy for continued end-user productivity and optimization of cloud resources consumed over a time period.
  • Apart from client projects, the role may require you to work on Datachamps’ own requirements such as building and enhancing internal apps, building apps for workflows our standard deliverables and client samples.


Qualifications & Soft Skills Requirements


  • Minimum work experience of 3 years in development and deployment of solutions from scratch using the following tools 
  1. Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint based workflows)
  2. Power Apps Component Framework (PCF) Controls for both canvas, model driven apps and Dataverse 
  3. Microsoft stack especially C#, ASP.NET, Azure and Office 365.
  4. Additional advantage for development experience on customization of Views / forms using JavaScript, Node JS, HTML5, CSS3
  • Certifications including,
  1. PL-900 - Power Platform Fundamentals (Must have)
  2. PL-100 - Power Platform App Maker Associate or PL-400 - Power Platform Developer Associate (Good to have)
  3. PL-200 - Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate (Good to have)
  4. PL-600 - Power Platform Solution Architect Expert (Good to have)
  • Graduation from a top-tier institute in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Management, Data Science, Mathematics etc.

Rs. 9 to 12 lakh depending upon experience
