We are seeking a seasoned professional for the role of Head of Operations & Research (Security) to lead our security operations and research initiatives in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in security management, operational leadership, and strategic research, with a proven track record of enhancing security frameworks and leading high-performance teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategic security operations plans to safeguard organizational assets and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

- Operational Oversight: Manage and oversee day-to-day security operations, including monitoring, incident response, and threat management.

- Research and Development: Lead research initiatives to identify emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and trends. Develop innovative strategies and solutions to address these challenges.

- Team Management: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of security professionals, ensuring effective performance and professional development.

- Policy and Procedure Development: Establish and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices to protect the organization's information and infrastructure.

- Incident Management: Oversee the investigation and resolution of security incidents, ensuring timely and effective response to mitigate risks.

- Collaboration: Work closely with IT, legal, compliance, and other departments to integrate security measures into organizational processes and ensure alignment with business objectives.

- Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to evaluate the effectiveness of security controls and identify areas for improvement.

- Reporting: Prepare and present reports on security operations, research findings, and incident outcomes to senior management and stakeholders.

- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest security technologies, industry developments, and regulatory changes to enhance security practices and adapt to evolving threats.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Security Expertise: Extensive experience in security operations, research, and management, with a deep understanding of security technologies, frameworks, and best practices.

- Leadership Skills: Proven leadership abilities with experience in managing and developing teams, driving performance, and fostering a collaborative work environment.

- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex security issues and develop effective solutions.

- Communication: Excellent communication skills for interacting with senior management, stakeholders, and team members.

- Project Management: Experience in managing large-scale security projects and initiatives with a focus on achieving strategic objectives.

- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are preferred.

- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with industry regulations and standards related to security and data Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
