Position: Chartered Accountant (CA)

About:


Our client is a leading trading firm with several offices across India. They are looking for a CA account to join their office in Delhi and work with senior management to ensure the business operates optimally.



Responsibilities:


1. Financial Reporting: Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable financial rules and regulations.


2. Taxation: Ensure timely filing of all tax returns, GST filings, and other related statutory obligations. Stay updated with the latest amendments and changes in tax laws.


3. Auditing: Coordinate with external auditors to ensure that all financial statements and operations are audited in compliance with local regulations. Oversee internal audits and address discrepancies.


4. Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation and monitoring of the company’s budget, forecast revenues, and analyze financial discrepancies.


5. Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for cost reduction and profit maximization.


6. Advisory: Provide financial advice to the management on potential business decisions and potential risks.


7. Compliance: Ensure the company’s financial practices are in line with statutory regulations and legislation.


8. Cash Flow Management: Oversee the management of company funds, ensuring optimal cash flow.


9. Financial Systems and Processes: Implement and streamline financial systems and processes to improve efficiency.


10. Team Management: Lead a team of junior accountants and finance professionals, providing training and mentorship as necessary.


Qualifications:

1. A valid CA certification.

2. Relevant experience in the trading sector is preferred.

3. Proficiency in accounting software and tools.

4. Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.

5. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

6. Familiarity with the financial regulations and tax laws in Delhi.
