Renowned for its commitment to quality, the team is dedicated to creating impactful and efficient designs that meet client needs.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Plumbing Designer based in Pune. The Plumbing Designer will be responsible for creating plumbing system designs, preparing detailed construction drawings, and ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards. The role involves collaborating with project teams to integrate plumbing systems seamlessly into overall designs, working on fire protection systems, and supporting HVAC-related design tasks as needed. The candidate will also engage in problem-solving to ensure design efficiency and safety.Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. - Master's Degree in any Engineering or Project Management preferred. - Proficiency in Plumbing & Fire Fighting Design System for Buildings & Infrastructure - Basic understanding of HVAC & Electrical Design principles - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Ability to work effectively in a team and on-site environment - Prior experience working in engineering design for healthcare, hospitality, or similar sectors is an advantage - Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, MS Excel, and design software. - Experience with Public projects, documentation & tender procedures.Responsibilities- Prepare Plumbing & Fire Fighting Designs, drawings, and detailed engineering calculations for water supply, drainage, and firefighting systems. - Perform hydraulic, pump head, pipe sizing, and tank capacity calculations. - Prepare BOQs as per SOR and carry out rate analysis for non-SOR items for tendering. - Ensure designs comply with IS codes, NBC, CPHEEO, NFPA & NBC standards. - Coordinate with Architects, Interior Designers, Structural, Mechanical and Electrical teams for integrated MEP design. - Attend client and consultant meetings and provide technical clarifications. - Review and finalize technical specifications and vendor submissions.
