All associates at Marriott Tech Accelerator will be ANSR employees, delivering services exclusively to ANSR's client, Marriott International.Role Title: Senior Network Engineer I – DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM)Position Summary:The Network Reliability DDI Engineer for DDI (DNS/DHCP/IPAM) team, will be part of Network Reliability Engineering (NRE) engineering team. The right candidate will be subject matter expert in designing and implementing next-gen DNS, DHCP and IPAM solutions across Marriott International networks serving the requirements of Property Networks, Datacenter/Cloud Networks, and Corporate Networks. This role will work closely and collaboratively with a matrix team of expert network architects and engineers to drive adoption of NRE practices and operating models across all network product towers, and around the globe. As the Network Engineer for DDI, the candidate brings focus on building a solid foundation of DDI services that are hosted across a variety of platforms and are highly available across global locations. Reporting to senior leadership, the engineer will be responsible to articulate and deliver an effective DDI solution to meet the demands of increasing complexity and scale of modern IT systems and overcome traditional approaches and limitations. The successful candidate will be expected to bridge the gap by implementing DDI services that are highly efficient and provide high return on investment in a cost-effective manner. This role is accountable for establishing technical level relationships and partnering with all business disciplines, other MI teams, outsourcing vendors, and external suppliers to define and implement the Network NRE DDI roadmap, building and enforcing the standards defined in it.Job Responsibilities:Maintaining Goals- Submit reports in a timely manner, ensuring delivery deadlines are met. - Communicates concepts in a clear and persuasive manner that is easy to understand. - Generates and provides accurate and timely results in the form of reports, presentations, etc. - Demonstrates an understanding of business prioritiesSkill and Experience :- 3-5 years' experience in developing network solutions utilizing DDI expertise in mission critical networks. - Experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting of DDI appliance technologies from industry leading vendors (Infoblox, BlueCat, EfficientIP etc) - Experience in implementing DNS security policies and DNS resolution policies - Experience in configuring and troubleshooting DNS zones, perform zone transfers - Experience in managing and configuring DHCP scopes and options across multiple environments - Experience in auditing, designing and implementing efficient IP address management techniques including subnetting and supernetting - Experience in Integrating DDI solutions with other network management and monitoring tools - Experience in designing and develop scripts for automating DNS, DHCP, and IPAM tasks - Hands on experience in resolving complex networking issues related to DDI protocols - Experience in designing and implementing NTP solutions for data centers and Cloud service providers - Field experience and knowledge of foundational data networking and IP technologies including (DNS, DHCP, NTP, ARP, TCP/IP, UDP, NAT and others) - Demonstrated experience in delivering written documents detailing network solutions and diagrams - Experience in Agile methodologies, daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning sessions and user story preparations - Upgrading Infoblox Hardware and Virtual Infrastructure.Preferred:- Advanced Degree (e.g., MS, PhD) in Computer Science or other technical discipline or MBA, preferably with a focus on technology - Experience with managing DDI tools in a hospitality industry a plus - Experience in configuring SaaS based DDI solutions from AWS, Azure and other cloud providers - Experience with one or more Cloud Computing platforms (e.g. Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Compute Engine) - Experience in leveraging public APIs for developing automation scripts - Team player with the ability to collaborate and work with cross functional teams in multiple time zones - Experience in researching emerging technologies and trends, standards, and products and synthesizing into clear technology roadmaps and strategies - Strong knowledge of emerging tools, applications, and systems for attaining best-in-class DDI solutions across the enterprise - Excellent problem-solving skills working independently and through leading outcomes for cross functional teams - Excellent understanding of change management, testing requirements and techniques, to ensure high availability and business readiness of platforms - Strong attention to detail with an ability to operate effectively across multiple priorities - Ability to perform independently as a member of a team and through cross functional initiatives - Proven track record of driving transformation in network technologies, tools, and processes through a data driven continuous improvement methodology - Demonstrated experience in improving reliability, performance, and agility of complex enterprise networks - Strong understanding of network infrastructure automation, DDI platforms and the emerging technologies in this area -
