Infrastructure Specialist

Description :Responsibilities :- Design and maintain automation scripts in Python, Bash, and PowerShell for infrastructure operations.- Automate VM lifecycle management, storage configuration/provisioning, and server configuration/patching.- Support and optimize Windows/Linux servers, VMware, Hyper-V, and Nutanix environments.- Develop self-healing, monitoring, and reporting automation to improve Infrastructure performance and uptime.- Implement automated backup, disaster recovery, and security hardening processes.- Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and deliver automation-driven solutions.- Document automation frameworks, scripts, and standard operating procedures.Requirements :- Strong communication skills (Verbal and Written).- Ability to work independently and within a team.- Adaptability, Proactive, and work ethic, Cross-functional collaboration.- Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and PowerShell.- Experienced in managing Windows and Linux environments, and virtualization platforms including VMware, Hyper-V, and Nutanix.- Skilled in using automation and configuration management tools like Ansible, Terraform, and Jenkins.- Hands-on experience with monitoring and reporting tools such as Nagios, Prometheus, and Grafana.- Knowledgeable in version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab), enterprise backup solutions (Veeam, Commvault), and security practices like system hardening and patch management.- Familiar with networking concepts including VLANs, VPNs, DNS, and load balancing.- Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP is an added advantage.
