Principal

Russell Square International College (RSIC) Principal is responsible for the educational, administrative and managerial operations. The Principal provides leadership in all aspects of RSIC and establishes and maintains a climate that encourages the highest standards of academic endeavour of students and professional conduct by the faculty. RSIC Principal will

> Implement and deliver the strategic and operational plans as approved by the Board.

> Responsible for faculty appointment and recruitment at senior positions of leadership as may be the case.

> Oversee the development, implementation and regular review of RSIC policies and procedures.

> Ensure that all academic programs are appropriately planned for and adequately resourced.

> Develop and ensure effective communication links with the RSIC community including students, parents, teaching staff and support team.

> Ensure that the public image of the College is of the highest standard.

> Oversee the student admissions process and be responsible for marketing plans and strategies to increase student admissions.

> Continuous improvement in the quality of education and ensure improvements in results every year.

> Ensure holistic development of students

> Provide clear guidelines for the compilation, editing and publishing of RSIC materials

> Effective decision-making and accepting responsibility following the expectations of the position

> Maintain and develop partnerships with affiliated educational institutions to meet and exceed the educational needs

> Regular update to RSIC Governing Board

Candidates with a postgraduate degree in Economics. Minimum 10 years of experience in a leadership role with an educational institution (undergraduate or postgraduate programs).

Capabilities to drive the vision of the RSIC and achieve results. Ability to lead and collaborate with high-performing teams. Ability to network with industry and international academia. Excellent administrative and IT skills.

Prior experience in an international higher educational institution is advantageous.
