Our culture values technical excellence, ownership, and continuous learning.Role OverviewWe are looking for passionate Senior Software Engineers (Java) who love solving complex engineering challenges. The ideal candidate should have strong Java programming fundamentals, hands-on experience in microservices architecture, and deep knowledge of Spring Boot and Kafka.If you enjoy building distributed systems, designing for scale, and working in modern cloud environments, this role is for you.Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices using Spring Boot. - Build robust, event-driven systems leveraging Kafka. - Write clean, testable, and performant code following best practices. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, QA, Product) to deliver end-to-end features. - Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and design improvements. - Optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability. - Contribute to CI/CD setup and automation in collaboration with platform teams.Required Skills- Strong proficiency in Java 8+ with deep understanding of OOPs concepts and data structures. - Minimum Experience required: 5yrs - Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture. - Experience with Apache Kafka (producer/consumer, schema registry, partitions, etc.). - Solid understanding of multithreading, concurrency, and distributed systems concepts. - Experience with unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, etc.). - Familiarity with AWS services (ECS, Lambda, S3, etc.) is a plus. - Exposure to Kubernetes and containerized deployments (Docker). - Experience working with MongoDB or any NoSQL database is desirable. - Familiar with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development practices.What We Offer- Opportunity to work on cutting-edge distributed systems and cloud-native applications. - Work with a team of experienced engineers and architects passionate about high-quality software. - Flexible working culture - Exposure to cloud-native architecture, DevOps practices, and performance engineering. - Competitive compensation and fast growth opportunities.How to ApplySend your resume to careers@refactorq.com with the subject line:“Senior Software Engineer – Java Microservices”
