Vedarth Animation Studio develops original content (IP), script to Full Dome Video for Digital Dome Theatres. The team has production experience on full dome, Animation Film and Stereophonic 3D productions. Vedarth has a Strategic Alliance with Industry Leaders like Cosm E&S Spitz -USA, Mirage3D – Netherlands, Astral Inc-USA and Dome3D-USA who are today’s premier Planetarium full dome show production houses. Vedarth has in house facility for professional voice over, music and audio post production.

Job Description

Job Title: 3D ARTIST

Job Summary:

As a 3D Artist, you will be responsible for producing high-quality assets for our projects. You will create mood boards, concept boards and gather references for preparing asset proposals. You will produce high-quality assets while respecting technical constraints. You will collaborate with lead/supervisor when producing assets. In your role as a 3d Artist, you will be working on large-scale Full-Dome projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Create realistic 3D models and textures including architecture, organic objects and props in accordance with the artistic direction, production deadlines and technical specifications.
• Sculpt/model UV & texture and integrate in high polygon meshes in a PBR pipeline.
• Create photo-realistic shaders.
• Verify the quality of objects, and make improvements where necessary to fit technical constraints and artistic direction.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• College Diploma/Degree in graphic design, 3D, video game development or equivalent training.
• 3-5 years’ CG/VFX industry experience with industry 3D packages, preferably 3DSMax & ZBrush.
• Experience working on CG/VFX industry.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Expert knowledge of 3DSMax, Maya, ZBrush and Substance Painter.
• Expert knowledge of Photoshop.
• Excellent knowledge of modeling techniques
• Highly proficient in building product accurate photo-realistic 3D shaders and texture
• Strong portfolio showing 3D art skills and demonstrating a high level of artistic creativity.
• Understanding of 3D animation and visualization techniques.
• Knowledge of Unreal.
• Knowledge of Blender.

OTHER SKILLS:

• Good Understanding of Lighting and Rendering.
• Good organization skills.
• Strong time management skills.
• Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written).
• Considerable understanding of CG and VFX pipeline.
• Self-motivated and agile.
