Senior Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer

Lead and coordinate electrical and instrumentation engineering activities for power and renewable energy projects (Solar, Wind, Substations, Transmission, or Hybrid systems). Participate in the tendering phase, supporting preparation of technical scopes, BOQs, cost estimation, and bid documentation. Review and verify design documents, schematics, single line diagrams (SLDs), cable schedules, and instrumentation layouts from EPC contractors or design consultants. Evaluate compliance with project specifications, client requirements, and relevant international standards (IEC, IS, IEEE, etc.). Provide technical support during design development, procurement, and construction phases. Review and approve electrical load calculations, protection schemes, and equipment sizing. Verify and validate instrumentation designs including field instruments, sensors, SCADA integration, and control philosophy. Ensure coordination between electrical, civil, and mechanical disciplines to maintain design consistency. Conduct value engineering and optimization studies to improve cost and efficiency. Support technical clarifications, vendor drawing reviews, and ensure timely resolution of design-related issues. Prepare and maintain engineering deliverables, review reports, and correspondence with clients and stakeholders. Ensure adherence to the HSE roles, responsibilities & accountabilities as defined in MS-0047700-HSE Roles Responsibilities & Authorities. Comply and ensure implementation of the company’s and the customer’s Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental Policies and Procedures. Preferred Attributes: Experience in utility-scale renewable power projects (solar PV plants, wind farms, hybrid, or battery energy storage systems). Exposure to substation and transmission interface design. Experience with SCADA / automation system design review and control architecture. Ability to lead multidisciplinary coordination and provide design support during execution. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to technical details Location: Noida, Mumbai or Bangalore
