Position Summary
This Developer position will focus on the WorkDay platform, particularly within the ERP and financial modules. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in software development, a willingness to additionally work within the salesforce.com platform, and a proven track record in an agile work environment. This role requires a commitment to writing code, creating unit tests, conducting peer reviews, and developing comprehensive reports
Job Duties
1. Design, develop, and maintain applications on the WorkDay platform, with an emphasis on ERP
and financial modules.
2. Extend your expertise to the salesforce.com platform, contributing to cross-functional projects
and initiatives.
3. Embrace agile methodologies, actively participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and
retrospectives
4. Write clean, maintainable code and develop unit tests to ensure robustness and reliability.
5. Conduct thorough peer reviews to maintain high standards of code quality and functionality.
6. Build and customize reports that provide insightful analytics and support business decision making
Required Education and Experience
1. Bachelor’s degree in technology, finance, business or equivalent.
2. Minimum three (3) years of relevant work experience, with software implementation in the Financial
Services industry
Required Skills and Attributes
1. Proficiency in software development with experience on WorkDay and Salesforce platforms.
2. Familiarity with ERP systems, financial modules, and CRM solutions.
3. Strong coding skills, with a focus on writing efficient, scalable code.
4. Experience in writing comprehensive unit tests and performing code reviews.
5. Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting and contribute to a positive work environment.
6. Agile mindset, with an aptitude for rapid iteration and adaptive planning.
7. Demonstrated Financial business acumen, shown by fluency in the key terminology, principles, and concepts central to the effective operation of a Finance department
