We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented SAS Viya Administrator to join our team and play a key role in ensuring the optimal performance, security, and availability of our SAS Viya environment.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of SAS Viya administration principles, experience managing complex environments, and a commitment to providing exceptional support to our SAS users.

Responsibilities :

System Administration :

- Install, configure, and maintain SAS Viya software components across various environments (development, testing, production).

- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls within SAS Viya.

- Perform system backups and disaster recovery procedures to ensure data security and business continuity.

- Monitor system performance and resource utilization, identifying and resolving potential issues proactively.

- Stay up-to-date on the latest SAS Viya updates, patches, and security best practices, implementing them effectively.

User Support :

- Provide technical support to SAS users, troubleshooting issues and resolving them efficiently.

- Assist users with accessing and utilizing SAS Viya functionalities effectively.

- Create and maintain user documentation for SAS Viya procedures and functionalities.

Environment Management :

- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of SAS Viya with existing infrastructure.

- Manage storage allocation and optimize system resources for optimal performance.

- Configure and maintain security measures to safeguard sensitive data within SAS Viya.

Requirements :

- 4 to 6 years of experience administering SAS environments, with a strong focus on SAS Viya.

- In-depth knowledge of SAS Viya architecture, components, and functionalities.

- Familiarity with SAS administration tools and utilities (SAS Management Console, SAS Environment Manager, etc.).

- Experience with operating systems (Windows, Linux) and basic understanding of networking concepts (a plus).

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with users, IT teams, and other stakeholders.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

- A continuous learner with a desire to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in SAS Viya.
