About the job

Overview

The QA Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products by implementing and maintaining quality assurance processes and protocols.

They are responsible for conducting tests, identifying defects, and documenting test results to ensure the products meet or exceed standards.

The QA Specialist collaborates with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and deliver high-quality products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts

- Identify, record, and thoroughly document defects and inconsistencies

- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements

- Conduct thorough product analysis and provide insightful reports

- Provide expertise and support to the development team in troubleshooting and resolving issues

- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand product requirements and facilitate timely delivery

- Conduct performance, automation, and regression testing

- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality processes

- Participate in risk assessment and mitigation activities

- Contribute to the development and maintenance of QA documentation

- Perform thorough validation and verification of software applications and systems

- Identify opportunities for process optimization and improvement

- Participate in project planning and scoping activities

- Communicate effectively with internal teams to address quality-related issues

- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies

Required Qualifications :

Education :


- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.

Technical Skills:

- Proficiency in manual testing and familiarity with automated testing tools (e.g, Selenium, JUnit).

- Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g, JIRA, TestRail).

- Understanding of various testing methodologies (e.g, Agile, Scrum).

- Basic knowledge of programming/scripting languages (e.g, Java, Python) is a plus.

Soft Skills :

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality products.

- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
