Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Compliance Auditor to join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring regulatory adherence at our locations in Dariba, Chanderiya, and Agucha near Udaipur.
Key Responsibilities:
Compliance Management:
- Independently assess and monitor compliance with a wide range of regulatory requirements, including labor laws, taxation laws, environmental health and safety (EHS) regulations, secretarial standards, and industry-specific regulations.
- Conduct regular compliance audits to identify potential risks and non-compliance issues.
- Develop and implement effective compliance programs and internal controls to mitigate risks and ensure ongoing compliance.
- Stay updated on the latest regulatory changes and industry best practices to maintain compliance.
Physical Verification:
- Conduct physical site visits to verify compliance with regulatory requirements, including documentation, records, and operational procedures.
- Inspect facilities, equipment, and processes to ensure adherence to safety standards and environmental regulations.
- Verify the implementation of corrective action plans to address identified non-compliance issues.
Legal Query Resolution:
- Provide timely and accurate advice to stakeholders on legal and compliance matters.
- Draft legal documents, such as notices, agreements, and correspondence.
- Represent the organization in legal proceedings, as required.
Audit Quality and Deliveries:
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of audit reports and findings.
- Meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality work products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of Indian labor, taxation, EHS, and corporate laws.
- Experience in conducting compliance audits for large and mid-sized corporates.
- Proven ability to independently assess compliance risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel to different locations within the assigned region
