Integration Lead

With offices in US, Germany, Brazil, and China, JOOLA has a global presence and wide distributor network.Integration LeadWe are seeking an experienced Integration Lead to take ownership of the strategy, design, and delivery of integrations across our ERP, eCommerce, CRM, finance, and analytics platforms. This role requires a combination of strong technical skills and leadership ability, ensuring high-quality, secure, and reliable integrations that support the business at scale.Integration lead undertake a wide variety of tasks, including (but not limited to)Assessments of emerging technologies and their potential impact on Joola applications, systems and services Create and maintain assets such as cross-functional dependency and integration maps, technical guidelines, and best practices. Technical analysis, feasibility study, architecture and design reviews / workshops, code and environment troubleshooting, proofs of concept, technical due diligence. Candidate must demonstrate excellent communication skills, a keen appetite for continuous learning, a solid understanding of software design, and a genuine interest in using technology to solve business problems. Key ResponsibilitiesWork closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into detailed technical specifications.Lead integration projects using iPaaS platforms such as Celigo, as well as native APIs, webhooks, and event-driven patterns.Communicates clearly to ensure that project teams understand and adhere to architecture. Works on multiple issues and/or projects; manage time effectively; proactively assesses risks and dependencies. Work closely with architects to Review integration designs, mappings, and data contracts to ensure consistency and maintainability. Evaluate new tools and technologies, conducting proof-of-concepts where required.Evaluates and makes recommendations for buy versus build decisions. Collaborates on design recommendations, and integration solutions. Develop and maintain the integration strategy, standards, and roadmap for all enterprise systems.Implement API governance, including version control, authentication, pagination, and rate-limit handling.Design reliable workflows with proper retry logic, idempotency, and error handling.Implement monitoring and alerting solutions with clear SLAs and documented runbooks.Establish data quality checks, schema validation, and exception handling processes.Oversee integration security, including secrets management, certificate renewals, and key rotation.Manage integration release cycles and ensure proper testing before production deployment.Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for integration code and configurations.Lead the resolution of integration incidents, performing root cause analysis and applying permanent fixes.Coordinate with external vendors and partners, including EDI providers and 3PLs, to meet business requirements.Plan capacity for peak business periods to ensure system performance and scalability.Track and optimize platform usage and costs while maintaining service quality.Maintain up-to-date documentation for integration designs, mappings, and operational procedures.Provides technical leadership, mentoring or coaching to development teams. QualificationsAt least 8 years of experience in application and data integrations, with 3 or more years in a lead role.Effective communication with technical and non-technical audience at all levels. Hands-on experience with Celigo or similar iPaaS platforms. Practical experience with NetSuite, Shopify, and Salesforce integrations.Knowledge of EDI workflows and coordination with providers such as SPS Commerce. Strong understanding of APIs (Rest based, GraphQL), data formats (JSON, XML, CSV), and security protocols (OAuth 2.0, JWT) and related technologies.Experience with CI/CD and Git-based workflows.Highly self-motivated and confident, whether working alone or in teams.Enthusiasm for extending knowledge and learning new skills. Strong commitment to quality and good attention to detail. Proven ability to set up monitoring and alerting systems for integrations.Knowledge of secure data handling and compliance with data protection standards.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.Desirable Skills and Experience Familiarity or experience with data lake architecture design. Familiarity or experience with messaging and event-driven architectures.Familiarity or experience with AWS cloud platformExperience writing and managing data transformations and mapping logic.
