Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Project Manager with a solid background in managing complex technical projects in the field of Natural Language Processing (NLP) / LLMs and Machine Learning. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of overall experience, including 3+ years of successfully leading technical projects. The candidate should have hands-on expertise in MongoDB, exposure to Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs), and exceptional communication skills to engage effectively with enterprise customers across India and the USA.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Management:
o Plan, execute, and manage NLP and machine learning projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
o Develop project roadmaps, timelines, and milestones to align with business goals.
o Coordinate cross-functional teams, including data scientists, machine learning engineers, and product managers, to achieve project objectives.
2. Technical Leadership:
o Provide technical guidance and support for teams working on NLP and ML solutions.
o Drive the implementation of MongoDB for scalable data management and query solutions.
o Collaborate with the engineering team to integrate Generative AI models and LLMs into the product offerings.
3. Customer Engagement:
o Build and maintain strong relationships with enterprise customers in India and the USA.
o Serve as the primary point of contact, understanding client requirements, providing regular updates, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
o Tailor communication to meet the diverse expectations of customers across regions and time zones.
o Translate technical deliverables into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
4. Process Optimization:
o Identify process bottlenecks and implement improvements to optimize project workflows.
o Ensure adherence to Agile or Scrum methodologies to enhance team productivity and project efficiency.
5. Documentation and Reporting:
o Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including technical specifications, user stories, and progress reports.
o Prepare and deliver high-quality presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
· Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
· Experience:
o 6+ years of total experience, including 3+ years of managing technical projects in NLP and Machine Learning.
o Hands-on experience with MongoDB, including database design, querying, and optimization.
o Familiarity with Generative AI and LLMs (e.g., GPT, Llama, Phi etc.) is highly desirable.
o Should have managed complex technical projects with team size of 12+ members across different skills.
· Skills:
o Strong understanding of NLP techniques, machine learning algorithms, and data pipelines.
o Proficiency in JIRA and Git.
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with technical teams and enterprise customers in India and the USA.
o Analytical and problem-solving mindset with a strong technical acumen.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Certification in Agile, Scrum, or PMP.
· Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
· Prior experience working with enterprise clients in India and the USA.
· Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
· Hands on experience with python is an added bonus
