We are a start-up based out of Bengaluru & Delhi NCR. We are engaged in development of next generation missions and technologies (NGM&T) towards future warfare needs of the Indian defence forces. It is undertaking research towards enhancing persistence and autonomy for unmanned vehicles and robotic swarms. NRT’s product development portfolio includes a solar power stratospheric high altitude pseudo satellite (HAPS) unmanned platform and an air/ground launched stand-off autonomous system.
We are looking for a Paralegal to support our Legal and Compliance team in handling contracts, agreements, and regulatory compliance, ensuring seamless legal operations as we continue to innovate at the cutting edge of defense technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and manage legal documents including NDAs, MoUs, contracts, and vendor/customer agreements.
- Conduct legal research on laws, regulations, and compliance requirements relevant to aerospace, defense, labor laws, and corporate governance.
- Maintain and organize legal records, contracts, and case files in a systematic manner.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with government regulations, export control laws, and defense sector policies.
- Support in coordinating with external legal counsel for litigation, IP protection, and regulatory matters.
- Track contract lifecycles, deadlines, and renewals.
- Prepare briefs, summaries, and legal correspondence for internal stakeholders.
- Assist in internal policy drafting and implementation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Legal Studies, or related field (LLB preferred, diploma in paralegal studies acceptable).
- 5–8 years of experience as a Paralegal, Legal Associate, or in a corporate legal team.
- Strong understanding of contract management and corporate legal processes.
- Familiarity with defense/aerospace regulations, compliance, or government contracting is a plus.
- Excellent drafting, research, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in MS Office and document management systems.
