D365 F&O Senior Developer

This position is responsible for identifying and delivering on innovative solutions to complex business problems within Allegion. The F&O developer will work closely with Business Analysts and partners to plan, design, test, and implement solutions with a consideration for re-use of code and easy to maintain routines. In addition, the developer provides technical support for software issues and integrations with other business systems.


What You Will Do:

· Supports innovation through creative application of software and cloud architecture, design, and development.

· Troubleshoots application errors and other technical issues while working closely with other IT team members.

· Collaborates with in-house technical, functional, and end user team members, as well as third-party vendors.

· Modifies application user interface code and extends back-end logic based on business requirements.

· Participates on estimations and impact assessments of all changes being requested, in partnership with the Business Analysts.

· Creates and executes unit tests and provides input into regression testing considerations.

· Engages the implementation project team and users to architect and develop sustainable and well performing application solutions.

· Produces technical specifications based on functional design specifications (customizations, integrations, interfaces, reporting).

· Gaining knowledge and experience with Allegion business processes, other ERP platforms, and strategic software platforms.

· Performs debugging and unit testing of application solutions and integrations as needed.

· Seeks opportunities to reduce complexity and improve application performance.

· Creates and updates required documentation to support the system and users.


What You Need to Succeed:

· 5+ years of experience with D365 Finance and Operations in the design, development, implementation, and integration of enterprise applications.

· Have a passion for technology and willingness to explore and adopt emerging technologies for practical business purposes.

· Bring an upbeat, positive attitude while enjoying working with an agile team to develop innovative technical solutions to help enable business growth and improve customer satisfaction.

· Be apt at quickly understanding new business domains and be creative and thoughtful about applying technology to improve processes and issues.

· Ability to quickly build proof-of-concept solutions that are forward looking to how they could be implemented on a larger scale.

· Demonstrated experience modeling the innovation behaviors of questioning, observing, experimenting, networking, and associating.

· Be self-motivated with good time management skills.

· Ability to identify issues, generate solutions and choose appropriate alternatives using basic root cause analysis.

· Demonstrated knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices.

· Experience in working with newer technologies and cloud concepts

· Openness and willingness to cross-skill and train in Dynamics AX / D365.

· Should have experience in the following ERP platforms:

Experience in using Azure DevOps.
