Job Description:


We are seeking a skilled Level 3 Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex backend services and APIs to support various front-end applications. You should have a strong understanding of backend technologies, and databases, and be able to manage the interchange of data between the server and the users.


Responsibilities:


  • Design, develop, and maintain complex backend systems, services, and APIs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Optimize and improve existing systems for performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code adhering to best practices (e.g., SOLID principles, design patterns).
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues in production and non-production environments.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in backend development.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 6+ years of experience in backend development, with a focus on scalable web applications.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Go, NodeJs, or similar.
  • Strong knowledge of database technologies (SQL, NoSQL) and experience with ORM libraries.
  • Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architectures.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality software on time.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture.
  • Contribution to open-source projects or active participation in developer communities.
