Job position : Internal Communications Manager

Location : Chennai

Key responsibilities :

Support local internal communications :Develop and execute internal communication plans tailored to the APAC region.Partner with local HR, business leaders and site teams to drive employee engagement and awareness of key initiatives.Coordinate and support local events, campaigns and announcements. Contribute to global communications programs :Collaborate with global communications leads on enterprise-wide initiatives.Adapt global messaging for local relevance and ensure timely delivery across appropriate channels. Content creation and editing :Draft, edit and proofread internal communications content including emails, newsletters, intranet posts and presentations.Ensure clarity, consistency and alignment with brand tone and messaging guidelines. Channel management :Help manage internal communication channels such as intranet, email newsletters, digital signage and collaboration platforms.Monitor engagement metrics and recommend improvements. Collaboration and alignmen t:Work closely with internal stakeholders including HR, IT, Facilities and Operations to gather content and align messaging.Ensure all communications are aligned with the broader internal communications strategy and brand voice. Project support :Assist in the planning and execution of internal campaigns and initiatives.Provide logistical and content support for town halls, leadership messages and employee engagement activities.

Qualifications :

8 to 12 years of experience in internal or corporate communications, preferably in a global or regional role. Excellent command of written and spoken English, with the ability to tailor messaging for diverse audiences. Strong writing, editing and storytelling skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Experience working with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams. Familiarity with internal communication tools and platforms from the Microsoft suite (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, Outlook). A proactive, collaborative and detail-oriented mindset.
