The role involves troubleshooting complex issues, performing root cause analysis, and ensuring application stability in a high-availability environment.Key Responsibilities: • Provide Level 3 (L3) support for applications built on Scala and Java. • Perform root cause analysis and deliver permanent fixes for critical issues. • Collaborate with development teams to resolve escalations and implement hotfixes. • Monitor application performance and proactively identify potential risks. • Maintain knowledge base, runbooks, and technical documentation. • Participate in on-call rotation for critical incident handling. • Work with DevOps and QA teams to ensure smooth deployments and releases.Required Skills & Qualifications: Primary: - Strong hands-on experience with Scala (functional programming concepts, Akka, Play Framework preferred). Secondary: - Proficiency in Java and related frameworks (Spring, Hibernate). Additional Skills: - Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL). - Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting. - Experience with REST APIs, debugging, and performance tuning. - Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git). - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
