OVERVIEW


We are looking for a Drupal developer that has SEO experience building systems that optimize performance and websites that perform on mobile better than they do on desktop. This role will span 8+ brand websites and be in charge of SEO audits and implementation of development improvements. This role will work collaboratively with other web developers, web designer, and content managers, and will report on progress and performance to the MarComm team.


DESCRIPTION


  • Ensuring that website design, layout, and coding is optimized for search.
  • Working with the web designer to ensure consistent standards of SEO.
  • Performing regular tests on website SEO rankings.
  • Troubleshooting technical SEO issues for the website.
  • Giving feedback to the Digital Marketing team about SEO/SEM opportunities.
  • Researching the latest SEO guidelines and implementing them.
  • Assisting with integrations to enhance or maintain SEO competitiveness.
  • Planning website SEO contingencies for problems that may arise.
  • Updating MarComm Managers and team members on SEO standards and changes.
  • Execute on-page SEO strategies across a diverse mix of web properties.
  • Conduct onsite and offsite technical audits; identify issues and opportunities; implement fixes and updates using SEO best practices.
  • Integrate external services with Drupal, often via APIs, RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML).
  • Conduct QA/testing and implement scope changes as needed.
  • Monitor Core Web Vitals - Largest Contentful Paint (LCP), First Input Delay (FID), and Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS) of all the properties.
  • Work closely with the MarComm team to source and develop new and unique web content that will enhance the user experience and drive conversions via organic traffic growth.



REQUIRED SKILLS


  • Ability to work with back-end SEO elements such as regex rewrites rules, robots.txt, metadata, and related skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of Core Web Vitals (LCP, FID & CLS)
