Role Overview:

Join Hard.Coded as we seek a detail-oriented and driven Accounts Assistant to enhance our financial team dedicated to serving Dutch-based SME companies. This pivotal role supports our clients’ financial operations from our Powai office, maintaining our commitment to excellence and fostering a dynamic work environment.


Team Structure:

  • Reporting to: Manager/Senior Manager
  • Team Composition: Team Lead, 2 Accounting Assistants, 2 Controllers


Compensation:

  • Competitive salary range of 3-8 LPA, commensurate with experience and qualifications.


Responsibilities:

  • Process purchase and sales invoices using scanning software.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable.
  • Ensure accuracy in bookings and check the general ledger.
  • Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
  • Assist in the preparation and finalization of financial statements and reports.
  • Participate in budget preparation and manage expenses efficiently.


Requirements:

  • Must-Have Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field.
  • At least 5-6 years of accountancy experience, with a minimum of three years in the finalization of accounts.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and adept at using complex formulas.
  • Proven stability in previous roles (minimum 3 years at one organization).
  • Proficiency in using ERP systems.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Excellent spoken English.
  • Nice to Have:
  • Diploma or advanced accounting certification.
  • Proximity to our Powai office for easy commuting.
  • Ability to read and understand Dutch.


Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience in KPO (Knowledge Process Outsourcing) or BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) environments, particularly in roles focused on accounts payable, is highly valued.

  • You will undergo a training program to familiarize yourself with Exact Online software and Dutch accounting and tax regulations.
