Description : Role : Data Quality EngineerLocation : Perungudi, Chennai Experience : 8 -10 THE ROLE : We are looking for an experienced Data Quality Engineer to join our Data Governance & Data Quality team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on skills in Informatica IDQ, along with a solid understanding of Informatica Axon and EDC. This role involves designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-level data quality and governance initiatives.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES : - Develop, implement, and maintain data quality rules, mappings, and workflows using Informatica Data Quality (IDQ).- Perform data profiling, data validation, and data quality measurement across multiple domains.- Build and maintain data quality dashboards, scorecards, and monitoring frameworks.- Support data governance activities, including metadata management, business glossary, data definitions, and lineage documentation.- Collaborate with business and technical teams to identify, analyze, and resolve data quality issues.- Ensure compliance with data governance standards, policies, and frameworks.- Monitor and report DQ KPIs, SLA performance, and continuous improvement metrics.- Contribute to metadata cataloging and support catalog artifacts in tools like Informatica Axon and EDC.- Provide insights and recommendations to enhance data quality and maintain consistency across systems.REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE : - 8+ years of total experience, with strong exposure to Data Quality & Data Governance functions.- Mandatory : Hands-on experience with Informatica Data Quality (IDQ).- Strong understanding of Informatica Axon and Informatica Enterprise Data Catalog (EDC).- Solid knowledge of SQL, data models, and data profiling techniques.- Experience working with enterprise data environments, data lineage, and metadata management.- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS : - Informatica certifications (IDQ, Axon, EDC) preferred.- Experience in cross-functional collaboration within data governance programs.- Exposure to data quality frameworks, standards, and industry best practices.
