Roles and responsibilities


Parliamentary Research and Analysis:

-Conducting thorough research on parliamentary issues and understanding the political landscape of the district in terms of demographic, community, cadre and grass root conditions.

-Analysing the potential impact of proposed legislation on clients and providing strategic recommendations.

-Tracking regulatory changes and parliamentary developments that could affect clients' objectives.

Stakeholder Engagement:

-Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including legislators, government officials, advocacy groups, and industry representatives.

-Representing clients' interests in meetings, hearings, and other parliamentary proceedings.

-Identifying and cultivating strategic partnerships and alliances to advance clients priorities.

Strategic Planning and Advocacy:

-Developing and implementing strategies to advance clients' parliamentary agendas and policy goals.

-Crafting persuasive messaging and advocacy materials to communicate clients' positions effectively.

-Mobilizing grassroots support and coalition-building efforts to garner parliamentary support for clients' initiatives.

Client Relations:

-Serving as the primary point of contact for clients on parliamentary matters.

-Providing regular updates and strategic advice to clients on parliamentary developments and opportunities.

-Collaborating with clients to align parliamentary strategies with broader advocacy and communications efforts.

Team Management:

-Supervising a team of researchers, analysts, and communication professionals.

-Assigning tasks, managing workloads, and ensuring that deliverables are produced on time and meet quality standards.

-Providing mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities for team members.

Campaigns and Public Affairs:

-Developing and executing issue advocacy campaigns to raise awareness and build support for clients' priorities.

-Engaging with the media to shape public opinion and generate positive coverage of clients' parliamentary initiatives.

-Organizing events, forums, and other public outreach activities to educate stakeholders and mobilize support.Tips: Provide a summary of the role, what success in the position looks like, and how this role fits into the organization overall.


Requirements

-Bachelor's degree in any field. Preferred Post Graduation

-Proven experience of minimum 3 years in political survey

-Strong team management skills

-Should be able to handle a team

-Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
