Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled ABAP FIORI Consultant for a mid-level position at Hinduja Tech, based in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have expertise in developing SAP FIORI applications and be proficient in integrating them with SAP backend systems. The role demands engaging with stakeholders to gather technical requirements and transforming these into state-of-the-art solutions aligned with business objectives.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Core ABAP expertise, including all RICEF subjects.
  • Hands-on experience in Web-Dynpro.
  • Hands-on experience in developing FIORI applications.
  • Hands-on experience in developing OData services and CDS views & annotations in the latest versions.
  • Experience in migration projects from ECC to S/4 HANA highly preferred.
  • UI5 experience desirable.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience mandated.
  • Proficiency in SAP UI5 development for designing and extending FIORI applications.
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and its integration capabilities.
  • Strong expertise in OData Services to fetch and manipulate data from SAP backend systems seamlessly.
  • Skilled in HTML5 for building responsive and scalable user interfaces for SAP FIORI applications.
  • Good understanding of SAP transaction codes and their implementation in user interfaces.
  • Ability to develop simple and complex workflows centred around optimizing SAP processes.
  • Effectiveness in collaborating within a cross-functional team to deliver integrated application solutions.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop, customize, and enhance SAP FIORI applications based on business requirements and specifications.
  • Integrate SAP FIORI applications with SAP S/4HANA and other SAP modules, ensuring seamless functionality.
  • Utilize Webdynpro ABAP for creating dynamic applications accessible through SAP portals.
  • Design and implement OData Services for robust data flow between the user interface and SAP systems.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to test, debug, and maintain SAP applications for performance optimization.
  • Provide regular updates and technical reports to stakeholders and IT management throughout project life cycles.
  • Participate in workshops and training sessions to continuously enhance SAP development capabilities.
  • Stay up-to-date with SAP industry trends and best practices for implementing innovative solutions.
