We’re seeking a future team member for therole of Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer to join ourClearing Markets Treasury Engineering team. This role is located inPune, Maharashtra – HYBRID.

In this role, you’ll make animpact in the followingways: 

  • Consults with internal business groups toprovide appropriate application software development services ortechnical support. 
  • Provides application software developmentservices or technical support in more complexsituations. 
  • Mayalso be responsible for requirements gathering and BRD/SRDpreparation. 
  • Has thorough knowledge of the SoftwareDevelopment Life Cycle. 
  • Conducts reviews of the test Plan and testData. 
  • Mayallocate/ coordinate work within ateam/project. 
  • The job holder leads the technical design,development and documentation of cross-functional, multi-platformapplication systems. 
  • S/he analyzes, defines and documentsrequirements for data, workflow, and logical processes andinterfaces with other systems. 
  • S/he also ensures that expected applicationperformance levels are achieved by coordinating, coding, testing,implementation and documentation. 
  • Must have thorough and demonstrativeknowledge on or both the user-side frontend of a website, as wellas the backend, server-side that powers theuser-side. 
  • Additional requirements include intermediateunderstanding of security principles, relational databases andarchitecture design principles. 
  • Programming well-designed, testable,efficient code. 
  • Analyze, design and develop tests andtest-automation suites. 
  • Develop flowcharts, layouts and documentationto satisfy requirements andsolutions. 
  • Maintain software functionality and currency(technical debt and gain). 
  • Actively participate in codereviews. 
  • Integrate software components into a fullyfunctional software system. Apply security and privacy principles.Execute full lifecycle softwaredevelopment. 
  • Develop software verification plans andquality assurance procedures. 
  • Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existingsystems. 
  • Ensuresoftware is updated with latestfeatures. 
  • Participate in deployment process followingall change controls. 
  • Provide ongoing maintenance, support andenhancements in existing systems andplatforms. 
  • Provide recommendations for continuousimprovement.
  • Activelearning engagement. 
  • Complete all required mandatory training /policy awareness curricula on time. 
  • Use learning tools such as Pluralsight tocomplete both recommended and aspirational targets set in personaldevelopment plans. 
  • Demonstrate team work. Leverage existingproducts/functionality and promotereuse. 
  • Workalongside other engineers on the team to elevate technology andconsistently apply best practices. Collaborate closely with all theother members of the team to take shared responsibility for theoverall efforts that the team has committedto. 
  • Collaboratecross-functionally with data engineers, business users, projectmanagers and other engineers to achieve elegantsolutions. 
  • Utilize local meetups to gain and shareknowledge. 
  • Compiles documentation written by more seniordevelopers of all procedures used insystem. 
  • Acts asmentor to junior level engineers. 
  • Prior experience with using a specificapplication development toolkit and knowledge of front end andbackend development coding languages such as C#, Java, HTML,NodeJS, CSS, JSON, Angular, JavaScript. Must also have proficiencyin Core Spring, ANSI, Docker. 
  • Communications and organization skills; teamwork skills. N/A. 
  • Contributes to the achievement of areaobjectives.

To be successful in this role,we’re seeking thefollowing: 

  • Bachelor's degree in computer scienceengineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experiencerequired. 
  • 15-18years of experience in software development required; experience inthe securities or financial services industry is aplus. 
  • Jobholder must have understanding interdependencies and businessimpact of future IT plans.
  • S/he must have prior lead experienceselecting and implementing vendor-specific methodologies and priorconsulting experience with structuredmethodologies. 
  • Job holder must have broad experience withmulti-platform development tools andtoolkits..
