Job Overview: We are seeking a seasoned HR Manager with a minimum of 18+ years of experience in human resources management. The HR Manager will assume management responsibility for various HR services and activities, including recruitment, selection, classification, compensation, workers' compensation, employee benefits administration, employee relations, training, and compliance. This role will involve managing and developing HR staff, implementing policies, and ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.


Key Responsibilities:


Management of HR Services and Activities:

  • Oversee recruitment, selection, classification, compensation, workers compensation, employee benefits administration, employee relations, training, and compliance.
  • Ensure that all HR activities are aligned with the organization’s strategic goals and objectives.


Policy Development and Implementation:

  • Develop and implement goals, objectives, policies, and priorities for assigned programs.
  • Recommend and administer HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.


Service Delivery Monitoring and Evaluation:

  • Monitor and evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery methods and procedures.
  • Recommend appropriate service and staffing levels within departmental policy.
  • Implement improvements to enhance HR service delivery.


Work Plan Coordination:

  • Plan, direct, coordinate, and review the work plan for HR staff.
  • Assign work activities, projects, and programs to HR team members.
  • Review and evaluate work products, methods, and procedures.
  • Meet with staff regularly to identify and resolve issues and ensure high performance.


Team Leadership and Development:

  • Plan, direct, and coordinate activities of employees to ensure goals and objectives are accomplished.
  • Mentor, coach, train, and develop the HR team.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 18+ years of experience in human resources management.
  • Proven experience in managing a wide range of HR functions, including recruitment, selection, classification, compensation, workers' compensation, employee benefits administration, employee relations, training, and compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is a plus.
