About this opportunity :
We are seeking an Automation Engineer to join our team and contribute to the creation of tailored solutions for our customers across all phases of the software development lifecycle. In this role, you will focus on developing well-engineered information systems, where software is the key component, ensuring that all solutions meet specified business requirements.
Your primary responsibility will be to guarantee that the software components you deliver provide essential functionality and perform according to overall project requirements and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities :
As an Automation Engineer, you will :
- Engage in Solution Design, Development, and Integration : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design innovative solutions, develop robust software, and integrate various components into cohesive systems.
- Problem Solving and Critical Thinking : Tackle complex challenges using analytical skills and critical thinking to devise effective solutions that enhance system performance.
- Deliver Results and Meet Customer Expectations : Focus on achieving high-quality outcomes that align with customer needs, ensuring that all deliverables are on time and within scope.
- Knowledge Sharing : Actively share your expertise regarding the automation applications you manage. This includes communicating details about code, application architecture, user credentials, security parameters, and other relevant information with the appropriate stakeholders to foster collaboration.
- Ownership of Communication : Maintain timely communication with all affected partners about any changes or new developments that may impact automation applications, whether they are in the design phase, deployed, or both.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
To be successful in this role, you will bring :
- Strong Knowledge of SQL and Databases : Proficiency in SQL, with a preference for candidates experienced in MySQL, to effectively manage and manipulate data.
- Programming Proficiency : Solid experience with Python and Django, enabling you to develop and maintain high-quality software applications.
- Software Engineering Fundamentals : A strong foundation in software engineering principles, methodologies, and best practices to ensure that the solutions you create are robust and scalable.
- Familiarity with Mobile Telecommunications Network : A basic understanding of the architecture and mechanisms of mobile telecommunications networks. Development experience in this area would be considered a significant advantage.
- Primary Competence in Software Development : A proven track record in software development, showcasing your ability to deliver functional, user-friendly applications.
