As a Tech Journalist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how our audience understands the fast-evolving world of technology. Your work will be instrumental in identifying trends, breaking down complex innovations, and providing readers with well-researched, engaging stories. Whether reporting on the latest gadgets, interviewing industry leaders, or analyzing startup ecosystems, you will help position DailyBrief as a trusted source of tech news and insights.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Curate and monitor top stories everyday from the world of technology and beyond
  • Research, write, and edit clear, concise, and engaging articles on the latest technology trends, product launches, and industry developments.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, software, gadgets, and tech companies.
  • Collaborate with editors to ensure articles align with the platform’s voice and audience expectations.
  • Write in various formats, including news summaries, in-depth features, reviews, and opinion pieces.
  • Maintain accuracy and adhere to editorial standards while ensuring fast turnaround on breaking stories.


Skills and Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
  • 1-4 years of experience in technology reporting or journalism.
  • Strong understanding of the tech industry, including software, gadgets, startups, and innovation trends.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
  • Ability to break down complex topics for a general audience.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and social media trends.
  • Comfortable working with deadlines and producing content under tight schedules.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build industry contacts and conduct interviews.
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) and digital publishing tools is a plus.
