Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled SAP Security Consultant with 7+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Identity Management (IDM), Role Design, and User Administration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing user identities across SAP landscapes, designing and maintaining role-based access controls, and ensuring compliance with security policies and audit requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain user identities across SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, Fiori, BW, etc.).
  • Design, develop, and maintain SAP roles and authorizations (single, composite, derived).
  • Implement and manage SAP Identity Management (IDM) workflows for provisioning and de-provisioning.
  • Collaborate with functional and technical teams to define role requirements and segregation of duties (SoD) policies.
  • Conduct role testing, troubleshooting, and security audits.
  • Integrate SAP IDM with Active Directory, SuccessFactors, or other identity sources.
  • Support user onboarding/offboarding, mass user uploads, and role assignments.
  • Work closely with internal audit and compliance teams to ensure regulatory compliance (e.g., SOX).
  • Analyze and resolve user access issues using SUIM, ST01, SU53, STAUTHTRACE, etc.
  • Maintain and improve user access review processes and documentation.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience in SAP Security and Identity Management.
  • Proficiency in SAP IDM 8.0 or later, including workflow and repository management.
  • Strong knowledge of role design strategy (task-based, job-based, derived roles).
  • Experience with Fiori / UI5 security and OData service authorization.
  • Familiarity with GRC Access Control concepts is a plus (e.g., ARA, BRM).
  • Hands-on experience in troubleshooting authorization issues.
  • Good understanding of SAP landscape architecture and security best practices.
  • Exposure to audit and compliance requirements for access controls.

  • Team collaboration and stakeholder management experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
