Overview :

Our client looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. This team is at the of developing solutions to streamline and enhance small business owners. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible in designing, developing, and maintaining software that optimizes labor scheduling, tracking, and management for our clients in the retail and hospitality sectors. You will work on high-availability, real-time systems that provide a competitive advantage to our customers.

Key Responsibilities :

Define and drive the technical vision for the engineering team, ensuring alignment with company-wide strategies and goals.

System Design and Development :

- Lead the design and development of robust, scalable, and user-friendly web applications.

- Innovate using the latest technologies and tools in both front-end and back-end development.

Collaboration and Product Direction :

- Partner with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define product direction and deliver complex applications.

Code Quality and Reviews :

- Conduct thorough code reviews, providing constructive feedback to ensure high-quality code.

Mentorship and Team Development :

- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Troubleshooting and Debugging :

- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in production environments, collaborating with customer support and operations teams to ensure timely resolutions and minimal business disruption.

Qualifications :

Educational Background :

Strong foundational knowledge in computer science, particularly in data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.

Technical Expertise :

Willingness and ability to learn and adapt to new technologies as required.

Experience :

- Minimum of 6 years of experience in software development.

- Proven track record of contributing to complex, high-quality software projects.

Problem-Solving :

- Demonstrated ability to tackle complex technical challenges with innovative solutions that have been successfully deployed in production environments.

- Excellent problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to debugging and Skills :

Strong communication skills, capable of articulating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
