About the job (CAPEX Controller)

The role is part of a high performing team centered on supporting the high growth of the Organisation. 

The CAPEX Controller is primarily responsible for the Capex and Asset management of all  manufacturing sites located in Manesar (Gurgaon) and Jaipur. The incumbent would support preparation of budgets and forecasts (as per the short term and medium term business plan), monthly closings (project and capex spends against budget, reviews, scorecards), project approval and tracking, and other financial planning & analysis activities on capex.

This position will work across a wide range of organizational stakeholders to ensure all internal and external factors are anticipated and properly accounted for in the Project  Finance Strategy.

This role would involve…

·      Overseeing  the proper opening and closing of capital projects each fiscal year 

·      Monthly reviews and monitoring of authorized spend vs. budget 

·      Ensure timely capitalization of projects  

·      Ensure periodic Capex reporting to the management.

·      Ensure fixed asset Capitalization according to accounting norms.

·      Ensure proper tagging of physical assets

·      Ensure compliance with Corporate Finance SOP  to Asset management across all manufacturing locations. 

·      Reviews of work-in-process equipment 

·       Partner effectively with function and procurement to achieve smart spending objectives.

·      Ensure compliance with all laws and also internal control requirements  

·      Promote simplification, efficiencies and improved ways of working across all manufacturing sites and ensure best practice sharing 

·      Build strong partnerships with the Business Team promoting information-sharing and close collaboration to best support the functions locally and globally

·      Educate client groups on all aspects of financial policies and processes to ensure compliance  

​Experience:  

·      Atleast 12 years of experience in Finance and Accounts with atleast 3+ years of diversified financial controlling experience  

Soft skills:  

·      Demonstrated results in Capex Control through building partnerships with multi-levels across the organisation. 

·      Strong organization skills: ability to track and manage a high volume of projects at a detailed level 

·      Ability to develop a rapport and credibility with key stakeholders 

·      Ability to effectively interface with investors and financing entities.

Technical skills and education : 

·      Advanced excel skills 

·      Proficiency in SAP modules,

·      BCom/MCom, CA
