Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Store In-charge to manage and oversee the daily operations of our client’s inventory and storage systems. The ideal candidate will be accountable for stock management, record-keeping, and ensuring smooth inbound and outbound logistics while maintaining inventory accuracy and compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise the overall functioning of the store including inventory control, receipt, storage, and issuance of materials.

Maintain accurate stock records, bin cards, and inventory ledgers.

Ensure proper documentation of incoming and outgoing goods (GRN, MRN, Issue Slips, etc.).

Conduct regular physical stock audits and reconciliation with system records.

Coordinate with procurement and production departments for material planning.

Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization within the store premises.

Ensure FIFO/LIFO methods are followed as per material requirement.

Monitor shelf life and expiration dates for perishable or time-sensitive goods.

Identify slow-moving, non-moving, and obsolete stock and report accordingly.

Lead and guide store assistants and laborers for smooth operations.

Qualifications:

Graduate in any discipline (Preferably or Diploma in Material Management).

Certification in Inventory/Store Management is a plus.

Skills Required:

Strong knowledge of storekeeping and inventory control practices.

Proficient in MS Office and ERP/Inventory software (SAP, Tally, etc.).

Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Good communication and team coordination skills.

Ability to work independently and under pressure.
