Description : QA Manual Tester (Insurance Domain) JavaScript + SeleniumLocation : VikhroliExperience : 25 yearsDomain : Insurance (General Insurance / Health Insurance / InsurTech)Skills : Manual Testing, JavaScript, Selenium WebDriver, API Testing (preferred)About the Role : We are looking for a highly motivated QA Manual Tester with strong functional testing skills and hands-on experience in JavaScript + Selenium automation. The ideal candidate should come from an insurance background, with a clear understanding of policy workflows, underwriting, endorsements, claims, and related system flows.Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and execute manual test cases for web and backend applications.- Create and maintain Selenium WebDriver tests using JavaScript.- Perform functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing.- Collaborate with Product, Development, and BA teams to understand requirements and identify gaps.- Report, track, and validate defects using standard tools (e.g., JIRA).- Validate insurance domain flows such as policy issuance, renewals, endorsements, claims, and payments.- Ensure test coverage, maintain test documentation, and support UAT activities.- Work in an agile environment with active participation in sprint ceremonies.Required Skills & Qualifications : - 2 - 5 years of QA experience, primarily in manual testing.- Strong working knowledge of JavaScript and Selenium WebDriver.- Experience testing products in the insurance / InsurTech domain (mandatory).- Good understanding of SDLC and STLC.- Experience with API testing tools (Postman/Swagger) is a plus.- Familiarity with JIRA, TestRail, or similar tools.- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.- Good communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.Nice to Have : - Experience with automation frameworks (Mocha, Jest, WebDriverIO, Cypress).- Knowledge of database queries (SQL).- Exposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git).Why Join Us : - Opportunity to work on impactful insurance/InsurTech products- Collaborative and high-growth environment- Exposure to both manual and automation testing initiatives (ref:hirist.tech)
