Valves Design Engineer

Grupo Cunado is looking for local Valves Design Engineer based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, to work in an international environment


Your responsibilities would be:


  • Graphic design (or subassemblies thereof), especially Control & Regulation valves
  • Up the drawings corresponding to their exploded views, assembly drawings, definition of necessary tooling, etc.
  • List of materials of the final product, determining the materials and their characteristics, as well as establishing the applicable regulations.
  • Sketches of metallic and non-metallic components for Reverse Engineering.
  • Between freight forwarder, clients and vendors to arrange shipping, customs clearance and shipping documentation
  • Selection of alternative materials for critical services.


Knowledge and skills:


  • Experience of at least 5-7 years in a related position in the industrial sector (especially in the valve sector of the Oil & Gas market) and/or in the pressure vessel design sector. Conceptual knowledge of valves and piping material preferred
  • Degree, Industrial Design Engineering or similar.
  • Work plus good communication and interpersonal skills
  • To work under pressure and handle tight deadlines
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word & Microsoft Excel
  • Advance working knowledge of AutoCad and Solidworks (mandatory)
  • Advance working knowledge about valves design, especially Control valves
  • Fluent English speaking, reading, and writing is essential, additional language is a plus
  • Ability to present information in an engaging way is preferred
