Their main responsibility includes working towards the professional development of teachers through rigorous training and providing on-going support.Job OverviewWe are seeking a dynamic Robotics/Coding STEM Trainer & Curriculum Developer to design, implement, and evaluate innovative technology-focused training programs for educators and students. The role involves close collaboration with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), overseeing curriculum execution, and ensuring the integration of industry-relevant technologies (e.g., IoT, Arduino, ESP32, Scratch, Python, etc.) into educational practices. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fostering continuous learning, enhancing classroom delivery, and supporting student success through cutting-edge educational methods.Key Responsibilities:Curriculum Design & Development:- Align Curriculum with Standards: Ensure that all curricula are aligned with educational standards, industry trends, and emerging technologies to provide students with the most relevant and up-to-date learning experiences.- Training Program Development: Design comprehensive training programs in collaboration with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) that focus on technical skills (Scratch, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, Arduino, TinkerCad) and pedagogical best practices.- Curriculum Execution: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of curriculum execution across multiple schools, ensuring consistency and quality of delivery.- Instructional Effectiveness: Regularly assess teaching methodologies and student outcomes, providing feedback and recommendations for improvement.Teacher Training & Mentorship:- Conduct Training Sessions: Deliver both offline and online training sessions to teachers on classroom delivery, technology integration, and instructional techniques.- Faculty Mentorship: Provide continuous mentorship to teachers to enhance their instructional practices, classroom management, and the use of technology in the classroom.- Organize Professional Development: Plan and facilitate professional development workshops, seminars, and training sessions to ensure that educators are up-to-date with the latest tools, technologies, and teaching strategies.- Classroom Observation & Guidance: Observe classroom teaching, offering guidance and support to teachers on improving engagement, pedagogical approaches, and student interaction.Student Success & Academic Support:- Academic Advising & Support: Oversee academic advising services to ensure students' learning needs are met and their academic success is supported, especially in technology and engineering subjects.- Supportive Environment: Foster a collaborative and inclusive environment that supports both student learning and teacher growth.Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with department heads, administrators, and external partners to enhance academic offerings, ensuring that the curriculum reflects current industry needs and standards.- Partnership Development: Cultivate relationships with external industry professionals, technology partners, and academic institutions to ensure real-world applications are integrated into the curriculum.Qualifications:Education:- Degree: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.Technical Skills:- Programming & Tools Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of Scratch, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, Arduino, TinkerCad, and other relevant technologies.- IoT & Electronics Knowledge: Strong understanding of Arduino, ESP32, and IoT technologies, with hands-on experience in creating and teaching projects related to these tools.- ERP Awareness: Sound understanding of ERP systems and their applications in managing educational resources, student tracking, and curriculum management.Experience:- Teaching Experience: Proven experience teaching at primary and secondary grade levels, with a focus on technology, engineering, or STEM subjects.- Trainer Certification: Certified trainer (teacher trainer certification preferred) with the ability to develop and lead professional development programs for educators.- Curriculum Development Experience: Experience in designing and implementing curricula, with a focus on technology integration and real-world applications.Key Soft Skills:- Team Player: Strong ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, administrators, and external partners to enhance the educational experience.- Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to clearly articulate complex concepts through presentations, written reports, and documentation. Proficiency in tools like PowerPoint and Word is required.- Passion for Teaching & Learning: A genuine passion for education and a commitment to fostering an environment of continuous learning and growth.- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with teachers, students, and stakeholders at all levels.
