Role : Cypress Automation Engineer

Exp : 2- 5 years

Location : Mumbai/ and Responsibilities :


- Develop, execute, and maintain automation test scripts to meet project testing requirements and ensure software quality.

- Design, build, and implement end-to-end regression suites for both UI and API testing.

- Identify high-value manual test cases and convert them into automated tests.

- Work closely with development, product, and DevOps teams in an Agile environment to ensure timely and high-quality releases.

- Develop and execute smoke, functional, regression, and integration test suites for UI front-end, API services, and database back-end.

- Debug and troubleshoot automation scripts and application defects, working with developers to identify root causes.

Required Skills and Knowledge :


- 2+ years of hands-on experience in UI and API automation using Cypress

- Hands on experience in JavaScript or TypeScript

- Experience in REST API or SOAP testing, including hands-on experience with Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools.

- Experience with SQL queries and database validation.

- Understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD from QA Automation perspective.

- Experience in debugging and troubleshooting skills to analyze automation failures and application issues.

- Experience with source control systems such as Git, GitLab, or Bitbucket.

- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and Agile testing practices.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
