Project Head – Edible Oil Refinery Commissioning

About The Role:We are hiring an experienced Project Head to lead the Testing & Commissioning (T&C) and Integrated Performance Testing (IPT) phases of a large-scale Edible Oil Refinery Project in Qatar.This is a senior contract-based position responsible for overall project leadership, coordination, and delivery of commissioning outcomes. The Project Head will oversee technical, documentation, and QA/QC functions to ensure smooth commissioning and handover.Key Responsibility:- Lead the complete commissioning and handover execution for the edible oil refinery project. - Act as the single point of accountability for client/PMC interface and project coordination. - Approve commissioning schedules, test plans, and documentation procedures. - Supervise functional teams, including Technical, QA/QC, and Documentation departments. - Monitor progress, review reports, and ensure timely completion of project deliverables. - Identify risks and implement corrective measures to ensure operational readiness. - Ensure all activities comply with safety, quality, and performance standards. - Oversee training, plant handover, and certification activities post-IPT.Requirements:- Education: B.Tech/M.tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering. - Experience: Minimum 20+ years in edible oil refinery projects, with at least 5 years in project or commissioning management roles. - Proven track record in EPC/PMC project execution and commissioning leadership. - Strong understanding of refinery operations, utilities, and process integration. - Excellent leadership, planning, and communication skills. - Prior Qatar/GCC project experience preferred.Contract details:- Duration: 12–18 months (extendable) - Compensation: Competitive (based on experience) - Benefits: Visa, travel, and accommodation providedHow To Apply:Interested candidates can apply directly through LinkedIn or send their updated CV to hr@avconexpo.com with the subject line:-Application – Project Head (Qatar Project)
