As the Global Communications Director for Energy in Delhi, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing their global communications strategy. You will lead a dynamic team and collaborate closely with key stakeholders across the organization to drive impactful communication initiatives that enhance their brand reputation, engage stakeholders, and support our business objectives. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of energy communication in a rapidly changing global landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and Execute Communication Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies that align with the company's global business objectives and promote our leadership position in the energy sector.

Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders including media, industry partners, government agencies, and community organizations to enhance our reputation and support business goals.

Media Relations: Lead media relations efforts, including proactive media outreach, handling media inquiries, organizing press conferences, and securing media coverage to amplify our key messages and initiatives.

Oversee the development of compelling content, including press releases, articles, blog posts, social media content, and multimedia materials, to effectively communicate our company's vision, values, and achievements.

Develop and implement crisis communication plans to effectively manage and mitigate communication challenges, providing timely and transparent communication to internal and external stakeholders during critical situations.

Brand Management: Ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all communication channels, both internally and externally, to reinforce our brand identity and reputation as a global energy leader.

Provide strategic leadership and direction to the communications team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture while guiding professional development and growth opportunities for team members.

Measurement and Analysis: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of communication initiatives, conducting regular analysis and reporting to inform future strategies and decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 + years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or related roles, with a proven track record of success in developing and implementing global communication strategies.
  • Strong understanding of the energy industry, including knowledge of key trends, challenges, and regulatory issues.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages for diverse audiences.
  • Proven experience in media relations, crisis communication, and brand management.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business objectives into effective communication strategies and tactics.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in digital and social media platforms, as well as experience with communication measurement and analysis tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Location:

Mumbai, India, with occasional travel as needed.
