Company DescriptionMelo Films has been producing non-fiction stories for over a decade and is now venturing into fiction space with short series for our channel.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time role for an In-House Video Editor based in Mumbai, with the flexibility of occasional work-from-home options. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing and enhancing video content. Key tasks include sorting raw footage, creating edits based on the scripts, understanding and incorporating feedback to finalise edit, basic sound edit, applying professional color grading, incorporating motion graphics, and ensuring cohesive and high-quality output aligned with project objectives. Collaboration with creative teams and adherence to deadlines will be essential.QualificationsProficiency in Video Editing tools and techniquesStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsPrevious experience of at least 3 years in fiction narrative Skills in Video Color Grading for professional and polished visualsExperience in creating Motion Graphics and Graphics for dynamic contentAbility to meet tight deadlines and work in a collaborative team environmentBachelor’s degree in Film Editing, Visual Arts, or related field preferredJoining will be immediate.
