Job Title : Development DBA with Golden Gate and Exadata experience.

Location : Bangalore / Gurgaon/Hyderabad

Experience : 8+ Years.

Shift: Flexible Support rotational shift

Job Description :

- Monitoring Exadata components like Database Server, Storage cells Server, IB Switches, PDU, and ZFS Storage through OEM13c and using ILOM.

- Proactive monitoring of production DBs and provided Minimal Time Resolution.

- Experience with Implemented Exadata new features like Smart scan, Flash cache and flash log, IORM and Storage indexes

- Experience using cellcli or dcli to manage Exadata storage server objects.

- Provide and implement performance and tuning recommendations for all components of the Exadata machine.

- Perform Exadata storage servers upgrades and patching.

- Monitoring Exadata storage servers with cell metrics alerts and active requests.

- Plans for backup and recovery of database information and maintaining hot backups, cold backups, and also include RMAN backup.

- Experience in Configuring & Monitoring an Exadata Database on OCI console

- Experience in Creating an Exadata Cloud at Customer Instance

Mandatory Skills :

- 8+ years of experience

- Experience in Oracle 9i, 10g, 11gR2, 11gR2 RAC, Oracle Grid Infrastructure, ASM & RAC

- Database design and modelling

- Oracle Exadata

- Oracle RAC

- Oracle GoldenGate

- Oracle Cloud

- Oracle Autonomous Database , Oracle Data Management (Partitioning, Compression)

- Experience in Database design is important for this role

- Develop and maintain logical and physical data models to support application requirements.

- Strong expertise in creating and managing the schema for applications, including table design, index optimization, and data partitioning.

- Knowledge of Query plans, different types of index scan, hash/nested loop etc.

- Experience with Implemented Exadata new features like Smart scan, Bloom filter, Flash cache and flash log, IORM and Storage indexes

- Strong expertise in Oracle Golden Gate for real-time data replication.

- Good Knowledge of Oracle Architecture GoldenGate

- Utilize Oracle Golden Gate to manage Bi-Directional databases effectively.

- Knowledge of uni direction, bi-directional, conflict resolution, and out of sync issues

- Hands-on Experience in troubleshooting Oracle RAC issues

- Hands-on experience in setting up Oracle RAC configuration and tuning

- Knowledge of Background processes

- Ocr , olr and voting disks internals.

- Scan listner internals

- Services configuration - TAC/AC drain timeout etc

- Cache fusion , node eviction , split brain syndrome.

- Oracle wait events , real experience use cases

- Hands-on experience and good knowledge of Performance Tuning and query optimization.

Education & Certifications : B.Tech / M. C.A (or) any other graduation.
